I’m Jonathan, a freelance photographer from Yorkshire.
I grew up and still live in Leeds with my wife and 3 kids, who, in turn, keep leaving and returning (that’s the kids, not the wife!)
My background, for most of my professional career, has mainly been in fashion, originally working as a retoucher for various reprographics studios in and around Leeds. This naturally led to me working as a studio photographer for some of the country's leading fashion brands.
Like most wedding photographers, I started off shooting weddings in my spare time after being asked by close friends, which ignited a real love and passion for capturing these special moments.
A bit of a cliché I know, but I love working with, and getting to know people, capturing the joy and emotions of their special day in a natural, unobtrusive style.
In my free time, I love cycling with friends and running in the Yorkshire Dales where I was fortunate to grow up - although my body grumbles with running these days!
